Sarah van Ree

Psychologist

B.Arts (Psychology), Grad Dip Psychology, Master of Psychology (Educational & Developmental)

Sarah van Ree has been a registered psychologist since 2010 and has practised in the perinatal field since 2016, when she commenced at Mums Matter Psychology. Presently, Sarah is a psychologist and the Clinical Lead/Quality Assurance at Mums Matter Psychology, providing clinical and administrative support, crisis response and resource provisioning to over forty perinatal clinicians. Sarah has facilitated group sessions, written and presented webinars and presented workshops including at MummyCon in 2019. Sarah regularly devises and disseminates ACT-based materials for clients and supervisees. 



Sarah completed her PsyBa/AHPRA accreditation as a supervisor in 2022 and has since provided clinical and reflective practise group and individual supervision to private psychologists, clinicians and students at Mums Matter Psychology and clinicians from the Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Association (PANDA). 


Sarah is registered with the Centre for Perinatal Grief and Loss after completing their course in 2021. In 2023, Sarah was awarded the Possums Institute 'Neuroprotective Developmental Care' scholarship to support families in rural Australia with specialised feeding, sleep, infant mental health and attachment services. Sarah primarily practises and provides supervision within the modalities of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and aims to tailor supervision to be collaborative, practical and reflective.
